Foxtail Millet Cutlet

Ingredients

  • Foxtail Millet – 200g
  • Carrot – 1/2 cup, chopped
  • Onion – 1/2 cup, chopped
  • Coriander – finely chopped
  • Chilly Powder – 1 tsp
  • Cumin Powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander Powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Oil

Instruction

  1. Take foxtail millet 200g. Soak them for overnight in water.
  2. Cook the soaked foxtail millet for 20 mins, till it gets soft.
  3. Mash the cooked millets and add cut vegetables like carrot, onion, coriander and mix it well.
  4. Add chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder and salt as per taste.
  5. Mix it all to make soft dough. Now take small dough and make a ball. Press it lightly to flatten it.
  6. Fry the cutlets in a pan.
  7. Serve them hot with ketchup or mint chutney
